The location of this place was wonderful, set on a hill in the Douro valley, and the staff provided excellent service without being overbearing.

The breakfasts were amazing with gorgeous home made jams and fresh squeezed orange juice, for instance and all the staff was nice. The bed was large, and the room itself was comfy.

we had a fantastic stay and would recommend it to anyone. double room had basic facilities we needed.

This place was a cozy and special base for our trip, and we enjoyed having a room with bathtubs.

We visited for a friend's wedding and stayed at Quinta Do Fojo Bed & Breakfast for 7 nights. Elisabete, the host, went out of her way to help us explore the region and even drove us down to Regua several times. The in-house picnic is delicious and highly recommended, with beautiful spots for picnicking on the quinta. The old charm of the house with high ceilings, wooden floors, and rustic furniture creates a cozy atmosphere. Breakfast is a communal affair, which adds a personal touch. A car is needed to reach the house, but it is conveniently located near wineries and only a 40-minute drive to Pinhão.
